Real life dating vs online dating
Meeting online seems to be the way of life now, even if we hate it.
But on rare occasion, if serendipity is on our side, you might actually meet someone special in real life.
Most of us have had that awkward moment where someone asks us how we met the person we’re dating and we awkwardly murmur “Tinder” under our breath (if we don’t lie about it altogether).
When you meet in real life, you get to be one of those couples that gushes about the cute way you found each other.
The general consensus, which I agree with, is that online dating is really hard for men.
In fact, it's considerably harder than it is for real-life dating. Why is it harder for men to have success online than it is in real life?
Hence, in real life dating, finding a date may be relatively challenging and you may have to be really patient in the hopes that you land someone that you like at the right moment when that individual happens to be single. Online dating has not only a much wider pool of dating prospects to choose from but they are also single. You don’t have to wonder whether they are in a relationship or not like you would when coming across someone that you are attracted to in real life dating.
Hence, with online dating, you have a very good opportunity to meet and start dating another single person quicker than you normally would in real life dating.
Most people in real life dating do not meet each other and instantly start pointing out something that may be wrong with that person.Andrea Wesley Andrea is a Thirty-Something freelance writer living in the suburbs of Vancouver, Canada with her ridiculous ginger tabby, Jagger. She first discovered her passion for writing at the age of 10 when she began filling notebooks with poetry. She's a cliche lover of wine, sushi, all things Parisian and spiking her coffee with Baileys. You all may remember the unexpectedly popular post I had last time on AM asking if people would use a hypothetical dating site where only women could initiate messaging (for those curious for an update, I've decided I don't want to make it).
